What is your leadership style

There is a collective thought that we have on a leader's personality style and would assume leadership would have ‘That’ one particular personality style. The truth is, great leaders come in all personality types


A predominant insinuation encompass among us is that only certain people are suited to lead, and others just don’t have it in them. In DISC we embrace the different style of leadership that each of this styles translates, as each of them is unique with its own advantages and strengths. Here we are going to look at the best leadership qualities that each of this style construe.


D-style leaders think fast and are ready to act quickly. Once they make decisions, they never look back making them look bold and daring. They have an inborn sense of competitiveness that drives them to lead their team to success and tend to be direct to the point in all of their dealings, which makes them very efficient at their task.


I-style leaders are inspiring and influential. When an I is leading a team, people drawn towards them as they are optimistic and enthusiastic. They are approachable, collaborative, and interactive, when an I is a team leader communication is excellent. Projects that are helmed by I-style leaders typically involve more meetings, group brainstorming sessions and creative interactions


S-style leaders excel at creating strong, dedicated teams. They are the type that would lead by example. Instead of merely delegating work, they will typically roll up their sleeves with the rest of the team in the trenches. Their down-to-earth approach and willingness to go out of their way makes their team members feel valued and appreciated.


C-style leaders are organized, thorough, and focused. They are they kind of people that have dedicated themselves to becoming experts in their fields, and are excellent planners. With their thorough and meticulous nature, deadlines, potential problems, and important details rarely escape their attention. Making them excellent in strategic approach to projects.
