Your Team is the Backbone of your company

Every company wants an effective, cohesive and efficient people in their team in order for the company to excel and prosper. When asking any management what are the essences to raising a strong team, they would definitely say “team training” is the foundation for a strong team.

To build a team first we need to hire the right people for our team, and this doesn’t come easy. Many companies went through series of hiring and just as they thought they found the right candidate, the person may leave and leaving the position vacant again.

The mistake that commonly made is that hiring is mostly done base on skills rather than the characters first. Every company has its own distinct values, therefore the right characters that should be hire are people that shares the same values as the company’s.

How this works, when what the company need is a list of skillful people and why would consider the characters first before skills? This is simply because we can train and develop skills, whilst characters are in-born. We may have a candidate with strong sales background, yet if the characters do not go together with the company values tendency is this sales person may not last, and all the effort into hiring is lost.

What do Apple, Google and Virgin Air have in common? “An Amazing influential cultures.” This is what strengthen the team in the company, be sure what is the ideal culture of your company and have the right people on your team, to fit in the mesh. The right culture needs to be establish from the start, so it rubs in with the flow naturally.
